Story, Tim. 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer. 20th Century Fox, 2007. DVD. PG. 92 min. ASIN B000VI70QS

Plot

After defeating Von Doom, the Fantastic Four can begin to enjoy life once more. All four are now comfortable with their new powers. The Thing and Johnny Storm now get along with each other, and Sue Storm is now planning to be Mrs. Fantastic. Everything is starting to work out for them, so they thought. When parts of the world are being destroyed for no apparent reason the FBI turns to the team for help. The Fantastic Four soon find out who is behind this destruction. Galactus, an evil creature in space whose sole purpose is to destroy different planets, has decided that Earth is it's new target, and sends the Silver Surfer to destroy it. The Silver Surfer is in command of Galactus. The team must work together to capture the enemy but realize that they are not sure who the real enemy is.

Critical Evaluation

The Fantastic Four is an old comic series by the great Stan Lee. This movie captures the friendship and bonds that the series holds. It stays true to the comics and the plot line is intriguing to new and old fans. The Silver Surfer in comics is not defined as good or evil but in the middle which this comic portrays. The action scenes and graphics in the film are great quality.

Reader's Annotation

The Fantastic Four group are trying to live as normal as possible but when parts around the world become destroyed they have to find the culprit. The Silver Surfer is destroying earth but is it by choice?
