Robin Hood: Men in Tights by Mel Brooks

Brooks, Mel. Robin Hood: Men in Tights. 20th Century Fox, 1993. PG-13. DVD. 104 min. ASIN B000G6BLW4

Plot

"And why should the people listen to you? " "Because, unlike some other Robin Hoods, I can speak with an English accent. " This version of Robin Hood is a mockery of the film, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. It holds all the same elements as the other Robin Hoods but with a modern and humorous twist.

Critical Evaluation

Brooks is one of the best director for comedies! The lines are always memorable and are used throughout many of his films. It is well written and does its purpose, makes fun of the serious Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves.
